Chemical engineering jobs
I finished my A-levels last year and I am currently applying for universities. Since going to school I have always had an interest in chemistry, and I have been thinking of doing a general degree in chemistry but recently a recently a friend said she has a brother overseas who will be graduating next year and is currently doing a chemical engineering degree. I would like to know what sorts of jobs are available for chemical engineering.

Chemical engineering can lead you to a wide variety of fields which may include the designing of processes for large scale manufacturing industries which need chemistry, chemical engineers can find jobs in industries that produce detergents, cement, minerals, polymers, food items etc; The jobs may involve the monitoring to make sure the products are environmentally friendly, by providing practical methods such as catalytic converters, stack scrubbers and others. Chemical engineers also assist in designing waste disposal and innovate new recycling techniques, graduates also may find work in pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, environmental health and agriculture. Chemical engineering graduates usually combine physics, chemistry, and mathematics
